Whats the worst obsession men's obsession with football or women's obsession with shoes?

shoes. its very expensive.

Whats the worst obsession men%26#039;s obsession with football or women%26#039;s obsession with shoes?
Depends... which does more damage? If you look at monetary issues both can cause alot of money wasting...

But football has a bigger problem, it causes some man to neglect their wifes... and that can be a real problem...
Reply:womans obsession with shoes, because you kinda have to buy them, but guys don%26#039;t have to buy tickets to football games.
Reply:Definitely the football. The fans get all het-up about what is, after all, only sport - and when their team loses they feel BAD. Shoes however can be worn time and time again and make you feel GOOD! Also, when shoes are finished, we don%26#039;t have a year-long autopsy about the whys and wherefores .....
Reply:Football, you dont see women smashing things up and fighting because a certain shoe has been discontinued!!
Reply:Obsession in itself is the demon. Each individual has his/her own level of obsessive behavior. It would be ignorant to say shoes or football, which is worse. With drugs or alcohol you have users and abusers. The same holds true for anything we can obsess over.
Reply:that%26#039;s a very rash generalization, i am male and have no infatuation with football
Reply:I think it%26#039;s equal. I could easily spend on shoes what season tickets would cost and do as much damage to my feet as playing football. Just ask my podiatrist! I even broke my foot last summer falling out of a pair of cute heels on the stairs in the dark! Besides, if it weren%26#039;t shoes and football it would be make up and power tools. *laugh*
Reply:ALL obsessions are bad, they take away your time mental and physically, but....if there%26#039;s a choice to be made it would be football, because it takes away time from the family that is precious (unless it%26#039;s a family thing) and shoes can go in the closet or on the feet and the mind is still there for the entire world to enjoy. If a man can watch football (or a woman, in my case) and still not ignore the special people in their lives, then go for it! If the shoes keep her looking at her shoes and not at you, throw them out. Obsessions are killers of life and mental capacity, so maybe you used too strong a word here.
Reply:football season ticktes strips etc it just mounts up
Reply:Both are stereotypes. I do not have an obsession with shoes %26amp; I am a woman.

And I know plenty of women that loves sports almost as much as their husbands.
Reply:I%26#039;m a bloke who can%26#039;t stand football, and while it%26#039;s incredibly irritating around the world cup season, what with tv, radio and most conversations about football, I%26#039;d have to say that a woman%26#039;s shoe obsession is worse, as it%26#039;s overly expensive.
Reply:Shoes...you can only watch so many new games a season.....but you could buy hundreds of shoes in a season!!
Reply:Either could be very annoying to the opposite sex, but I don%26#039;t think you can generalise that much. Not all men like, or are hugely excited by, football, and lots of women are like me, and only buy shoes infrequently, I don%26#039;t think I%26#039;ve bought any since last summer.
Reply:Probably equal, depending on how you look at it.

I mean men end up paying pretty big bucks for season tickets or the cable/satelite hook up to see the games. And women spend big bucks on all the latest and fashionable shoes. Either way it can be draining on their bank accounts.

But the way I Iook at it women get more use out of their shoes than men get out of football.
Reply:Depends if your a man or a women!

Oh look footie, im off..
Reply:Can%26#039;t say one is %26#039;worse-er%26#039; than the other, but at least football (which I%26#039;m not a fan of) is generally(!) %26#039;seasonal,%26#039; whereas %26#039;shoes%26#039; seem not to be.

Speaking of which....! Naw, that%26#039;s another question for another time n place.

Sash.
Reply:men and foot ball im not interested that much in shoes but i used to love a good game watching, playing my self but my hubbys such a fanatic i cant stand football any more i actuly have grown to hate it as another woman a rivel i wont even allow it to be dicussed in front of me any more and i used to love it
Reply:they%26#039;re both as bad as each other
Reply:As a woman, I%26#039;ve got to say shoes - my obsession is costing me a fortune.

Does anyone know of a good therapist dealing in shoe obsession?
Reply:Obsession with shoes is bad. Obsession with football is constructive obsession...it is creative and inspiring...

However obsession with football shoes is the coolest!!!

(Awk!! now that was lame... my apologies)
Reply:this female don%26#039;t have an obsession with shoes, prefer barefeet. so it must be the footie.
Reply:Shoes, because it%26#039;s only about an object of status. Football is about achieving goals. It takes many attempts to get a first down (in football) just like achieving a goal in life. Sometimes you breeze one by (an 80 yard pass) but most of the game will represent life%26#039;s struggles (the ground/running game). Everyone likes to see the overcoming of the struggles of adversity.
Reply:both are as bad as each other
Reply:Not only women with shoes, men with shoes, animal with shoes are worsts. Shoes are expensive.

  1. Good to know information.

I wanted to share a piece of advice for those who are on the look out for a good pair of sports shoes but are on a tight budget. Make sure you buy original shoes and avoid going in for imitations as these will give way in the long run and will not provide you the comfort and flexibility that an original shoe will offer.

You can get great deals in many online stores offering discounts on genuine shoes and can buy them well within your budget without going in for cheap imitations. It’s always a good idea to spend a little more though and get the right shoes and experience the true comfort for which the shoe is designed.
